How to Reschedule a Class with Participants?

Rescheduling a single class with participants is easy. Here’s how.

 

Steps:

Log in to your Fitli business account and click the class you want to reschedule on your calendar to open its profile.

To reschedule the class, click the date and/or time, use the date picker to change the date and/or the arrows to change the time. When done, hit SAVE.

In the example below, the business will reschedule the 7:30 AM class to 10:00 AM. 

Click the arrows to change the time. The site will automatically extend the end time based on how long the class is scheduled for.

Note: You can only reschedule a single class. The option to "update all future instances" will be unselectable if the class is part of a recurring session. If the class' schedule is updated back to the previously scheduled date and/or time, this option becomes available again.

Hit SAVE. Very Important!

That’s it! Your class is updated on your calendar.

 

What will happen next?

Any booked participants or waitlisted clients will be automatically moved with the session to the new date and/or time. Participants, waitlisted clients and the professional/instructor of the class, will receive a notification that the class has been rescheduled. Screenshots below.

If the professional has been changed as part of the date and/or time update, the previous instructor (the instructor booked for the prior date and/or time) will receive a notification regarding the change, similar to the one below. They will NOT receive a reschedule notification.

Q: If I reschedule a class will all future instances of the recurring session be rescheduled?

A: No, the option to “Update all future instances of this recurring session” will be unselectable. To reschedule, you’d need to update each class one by one. If the class’ schedule is updated back to the previously scheduled date and/or time, the option to “update all future instances” becomes available again.

Q: Will the participants/waitlisted clients be part of the rescheduled class?

A: Any booked participants or waitlisted clients will be automatically moved with the session to the new date and/or time.

Q: Will the participants receive a notification regarding the rescheduling of the class?

A: Yes, all participants, even your waitlisted clients and the instructor of the class, will receive a reschedule notification via email and/or text.

Q: Can my clients reschedule the class on their end?

A: No, your clients won’t be able to reschedule the class. However, they can withdraw themselves from the class and book another class.
