POS Terminal Activation

Note: Fitli provides ALL FEATURES TO ALL SUBSCRIPTION LEVELS, hence, we no longer charge $5 monthly for POS Terminal payment processing. The Fitli web application has not yet been updated to reflect this. Rest assured, you will not be charged $5 monthly if you activate this feature. However, there is a $5 monthly minimum processing fee that is charged if there isn't at least $5 in processing fees accrued in a monthly period on an active processing account.

 

This feature allows your business to easily accept card payments with a POS (Point-of-Sale) Terminal. You and your customers can either tap, swipe and insert cards. Your customers can also use their contactless payments via their phone, like Apple Pay. Activating this feature is easy and you can do it with just a few clicks, here’s how! 

Note: This feature is only available for businesses whose Usio Payment Status is ACTIVE, similar to the one below. To unlock this feature, activate payment processing and enroll!

Activate Terminal Subscription

Log in to your account and click ADMIN at the top.

Click "Payment Processing" under "Business Information". 

You’ll see two sections on the "Payment Processing" page. To activate POS Terminal, turn on the "Enable a POS Terminal" toggle to YES.

 

By confirming this action, you are choosing to activate the POS Terminal payment processing.

During those 30 Days, you must order and set up your POS Terminal. You may start processing when you receive the terminal, even if the 30 Days have not elapsed.

Please confirm that you understand the above and accept the addition of the POS Terminal payment processing.

Processing card payments via the terminal are priced at 2.9% + $0.30 per transaction. 

Once you fully understand these terms, click the box and hit CONFIRM on the "Activate Terminal Subscription" modal.

Then, hit SAVE on the "Payment Processing" page to save your changes, Very Important!

You’ll see a green confirmation message at the top that your Payment information has been updated and you’ll be notified. 

In order to use the terminal capability after activating your terminal subscription, place an order for an approved and pre-configured terminal. Your subscription will start 30 days after you order your terminal.

To do this, click the link below the POS Terminal section to order your terminal.

You’ll be directed to our Payment Terminals site where you can order your terminal.

Click ORDER, fill out the form and hit SUBMIT.

You’ll be charged for the cost of the terminal + tax and shipping fee. 

 

Deactivate Terminal Subscription

If for some reason you no longer want to accept card payments with your terminal and you want to cancel your terminal subscription, go to the "Payment Processing" page and scroll down.

To deactivate POS Terminal, turn off the "Enable a POS Terminal" toggle to NO.

By confirming this action, you are deactivating the POS Terminal feature. Immediately after confirming deactivation, the terminal feature will no longer be available to use. You may always reactivate the feature at any time.
