Welcome to our newest feature, Relationships! Now you're able to share your business memberships and packages with groups of clients, including families, friends, co-workers and others! Gone is the requirement for each attendee to create a Fitli account and purchase their own packages - now they can be shared from a primary member to multiple relationships!
How does it work?
You, the business, set up your current packages/memberships as either being 'shared' or 'not shared'. Then, clients who've purchased these packages/memberships in the past, or who are purchasing them in the future, can 'share' their packages with relationships. In this first release, you will need to create these relationships for your clients. Typically, relationships are children, friends, family members, co-workers, etc. Once these relationships are created, you can book them into classes or appointments using the package/membership purchased by the main account owner.
A typical example might be a family of 4 - mom, dad and two kids. The parent account (mom) purchases a 'family membership'. Then, dad and the kids are added to her account as relationships. These relationships, along with the parent account, can all be booked into classes or appointments using the one purchased package.
What are the benefits of using Relationships?
With Relationships, your clients won't have to purchase a separate membership for EACH person booking into a class or appointment. Also, you don't need to have a completely separate client account for each person booking, you just create a relationship under the 'parent'. This simplification of the booking and purchasing process should make it much easier for you to manage your business.
What does Relationships do now, and what's planned for the future?
Right now you, as a business, will be able to use Relationships to book your clients and their relationships into classes and appointments. You can create and manage their relationships, create and edit your shared packages, and manage all the booking and sales for your clients and their Relationship accounts. Clients will have an expanded view in the web and mobile app showing the bookings and activity of their relationships. They will also be able to cancel bookings for their primary and relationship accounts.
In the next planned release for the Relationships feature, we'll add the ability for your clients to create and manage their own relationships including booking and purchases on behalf of relationships.
How can I get Relationships for my business?
Initially, we will release Relationships to a small group of business users on a first-request basis. Just contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org and let us know you're interested. If there is a spot available, we'll activate Relationships for your account, and get you started with our Help Desk Guides. A few weeks after the launch, we will open the Relationships feature up to all businesses who request it. We'll also be hosting periodic Q&As, training sessions and video guides coming soon!
